Why Hello :)

So.... I decided to jump on the bandwagon and start a blog again. :)

Since it's Grammy night I thought I would start my blog with my personal reviews on most of the performances. The ones that I didn't miss haha. I am entitled to my own opinion. So please don't get offended if you don't agree with me. After all it is my blog!

U2- I'm probably going to hear it from alot of people but I think their performance lacked ALOT.. I've seen better from them.. Maybe I'm being negative Nancy because I just don't care for them... Moving on to better things...

Justin Timberlake & Al Green: First off.. Happy belated b-day to Justin! Ok.. so I'm not going to lie the intro to this performance was a lil cheesy. Justin talking about going to the general store because apparently in Memphis that where all the cool people hang out. But the performance was amazingggg. Justin can sing anything. He really can. They both sang "Let's Stay Together."

Carrie Underwood: Her microphone was AMAZING! I loveeeee glitter! Her performance was very good. Homegirl can sing. I love how all these American Idol kids are owning this years Grammy's. I wonder if Clive has something to do with that... hmmm DEFINITELY. But overall, great performance & congrats to her on her 4th Grammy win tonight.

Coldplay & Jay-Z: AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Viva La Vida is a great song. Deserves to be song of the year. The lil snip it of Jay-Z rapping was pretty cool as well. Not expected at all. Overall, great performance.

Miley Cyrus & Taylor Swift: First off I ADORE these girls!! I like the song but not a Grammy song. I think they should have tag teamed and sang 7 THINGS! That would have been amazing. I wonder if the JoBros are regretting breaking there hearts! Cute performances but I know they can do better!

Kid Rock: I just find him to be a boring person. He's only exciting when he tries fighting someone at an award show. haha moving on...

Jennifer Hudson: Amazing. This girl gives me the chills when she sings. She is truly amazing. Congrats on your first Grammy and thanks for making me cry! Her award is much deserved. She deserves something to smile about.

Stevie Wonder & Jonas Brothers: First off.. VERY random! But decent performance for the JoBros. Still not a fan of them.. Stevie Wonder owned it :) Hate to be mean but the JoBros will never be N'Sync!

Katie Perry: The banana.. the strawberries, the peach.. This girl loves her fruit. I was expecting a giant Chap stick on stage but didn't get it. Cute performance but I'm pretty sure I felt her nerves through the tv screen. I just don't think she's Grammy ready yet. Homegirl needs to work her way up..

Kanye West & Estelle: Kanye, Kanye, Kanye.... your hair. :( Overall, mediocre performance. I would have liked to see kanye perform solo. I think he does much better when he's singing by himself. I wanted to hearrr "How could you be so heartlessssssssssss"

M.I.A, Kanye West, T.I, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z: First off...HOMEGIRL IS CRAZY. She should be in BED. She's due any SECOND now... Definitely a Grammy first. Is it mean that I was waiting for her water to break in the middle of the performance??? hahah. I just think it was too much talent on one stage. They looked a lil confused.. or maybe high? Hot mess but a good hot mess. Once again kanyes hair.. tisk tisk tisk. Fun performance but messy.

Justin Timberlake & T.I: "I get sooooo weak in my knees I can hardly speak I lose all control.." Justin is simply amazing. He's so talented! I didn't expect him to play a piano in this song at all! Always expect the unexpected! T.I is a great rapper. Personally, I believe both did better on this song compared to their first performances tonight. I felt the emotion in this song. The drummer guys in this performance was amazing. Makes me wanna play rockband! hahah "Character can take you places but money can't" good call T.I. Great performance as expected.

Lil Wayne & Robin Thicke: Lil Wayne owns the stage. He has such strong stage presence it's incredible. Congrats on the FOUR awards tonight. Congrats on Best Rap Album! Homeboyyyy is legit I must say. Rolling stones said "The man with the most nominations, Lil Wayne, took home four awards, most notably and predictably Best Rap Album for Tha Carter III, but also Best Rap Song for “Lollipop,” Best Rap Solo Performance for “A Milli” and his verse on “Swagga Like Us” scored him Best Rap Performance By A Group." its been a GREAT year for LW!

Overall, Awesome performances! Fun night. Wished BRITNEY performed though! Can't wait for the next award show!

Oh yeahhhhh CANT forget..The most exciting thing about the Grammy's was BLINK 182 announcing they are reuniting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is great news after all the drama that happened btwn them. Its good to see people can look past what happened in the past and move forward!
Another thing that stood out to me in the show was P-Diddy has yet again changed his name. It's now Sean Diddy Combs, just in case you forgot. That boy is ridiculous. Stick to one name. Shit man, your not Obama. Chill Out! haha
